As part of our lawn restoration process core lawn aerations and over-seeding in Ambler, Blue, Bell, North Wales, Lafayette Hill, Fort Washington and Dresher, Pa. which typically begin right around now are being held up due to the weather. We need lower temperatures both during the day and at night and more moisture. The aeration portion would likely go OK although the ground is very dry but the grass seed needs consistent moisture to germinate and right now we just are not receiving any rain. The forecast at the end of this week is expected to return back to “typical” temperature’s and moisture for this time of the year and if so, we will be rolling out the lawn aerator and loading the grass seed. We have plenty of properties to aerate and over-seed in Ambler, Fort Washington, Blue Bell, Dresher, North Wales and Lafayette Hill, Pa. areas. We also aerate and over-seed in surrounding towns Lansdale, Horsham, East Norriton, Pa. areas and will likely add each of those towns for lawn cutting service next season. If your on our list for core lawn aeration and over-seeding this fall we will be in touch with you shortly on preparations. For lawn aerating and over-seeding to work properly the ground must be kept moist for the following three weeks at least. Grass seed needs time to germinate so lower day and night temperatures will help the ground retain moisture longer.
