Lawn Care Applications & Spring Cleanups
Here we go for the opening of the 2016 season. We are just a few weeks away from applying our first lawn application of the season and beginning our spring landscape and lawn cleanups. The first lawn application is important and sets the tone for the rest of the season for lawn restoration and lawn maintenance. The application we use is made up of mostly pre-emergent weed control with a light slow release fertilizer for the grass. Between now and the time we apply the first application we are just waiting for the optimum weather conditions. The daily temperature needs to be above 45 degrees which may only be a few weeks away. We plan to begin spring cleanups at that time, which include picking up all the fallen sticks, branches and remaining leaves and trim and prune some of the shrubs and small trees. We also will apply hardwood mulch which includes pulling any existing weeds and applying a weed control product like Preen to each landscape bed before we apply the new mulch. Actual lawn cutting should start in mid-April. We are trying to prep all the properties first before we begin lawn cutting. We have a number of properties which are designated for aggressive lawn restoration this year. If you live in Ambler, Blue Bell, Fort Washington, Wyndoor, Lafayette Hill, North Wales and Lansdale give Ingram Lawn & Garden a call. We will talk about our lawn application and lawn restoration process as well as any of our other landscape contractor services.
