With the warming temperatures finally arriving and most of the snow melted we have been busy with spring landscape cleanups which include yard debris removal (sticks, down trees and tree limbs from this past winter. Last week we were working on several properties which still had snow piled up on their shaded side and we could not remove all of the white pine tree limbs down from the winter snow storms. Just for the record, try not to use white pine trees or birch trees in your landscape. They constantly drop limbs and sticks and you always need to pickup around them. In fact, try not to plant any tree that will grow taller than 20′ around or near your house structure. Trees which grow taller than 20′ should be planted far away from your house structure. The root systems on trees are usually three times the size of the tree canopy.
What’s included in spring landscape cleanup? Every customer is different. We remove the fallen sticks, tree limbs, trees, leaves, prune shrubs and smaller trees, install Preen (weed preventer) in the landscape beds, apply hardwood mulch, edge gardens, remove dead shrubs and install new ones, plant seasonal flowers, apply weed and feed to your lawn, fertilize the shrubs or just about anything else with your lawn or landscape. In short, your property is all ready for the spring growing season when were finished. If your need a spring cleanup or yard debris removed give Ingram Lawn & Garden a call.
